31.Bharata   told   the   charioteer   that   it   is   rare   that   all   his   relatives   are   in   good   health.   However his   mind   was   worried   without   any   reason.

33.Bharata   entered   the   city   through   Vijayanta   gate   where   he   was   greeted   with   shouts   of
'may   you   be   victorious'   by   the   guards   and   went   with   them.

34.Bharata   accepting   the   greetings,   spoke   to   Ashvapayi's   tired   charioteer   as   follows.

35.Bharata   asked   the   charioteer   the   necessity   of   being   brought   urgently   without   reason.   He told   the   charioteer   that   his   mind   thinks   of   sad   events   only   and   his   natural   equanimity   is   lost.

36.Bharata   told   the   charioteer   that   he   saw   all   the   bad   signs   which   were   associated   with   the death   of   kings.

37.Bharata   told   the   charioteer   that   he   saw   unpleasant,   unclean   things   and   open   doors   all

38.Bharata   told   the   charioteer   that   in   the   homes   no   worship   is   being   done,   persons   are   not eating   and   are   without   any   enthusiasm.   Houses   looked   desolate.

39.Bharata   told   the   charioteer   that   the   temples   looked   desolate   with   uncleaned   corridors   and with   faded   garlands.

40.Bharata   told   the   charioteer   that   the   flowers   in   the   markets   do   not   appear   fresh   as   before. No   worship   is   being   done   in   temples   and   yagnas   are   not   being   performed.
