at that time showered benedictions

i.e. Sri Rama chanced to
see these two singers(Kusa
and Lava),who were
praised in
all places like highways, streets
etc; and who were experts
in singing all tunes, singing
extremely well this life-story
(Ramayana) which was exquisitely
composed by tha sage(Valmiki), which
acts as the ideal basis
for the compositions of all
poets, has been completed
in proper order and (is)
capable of
bestowing (on
the one who resorts to
it) astonishingly good
and long life-span,
a great nourisher and capable
of winning
the ears and
the hearts of all (26-28).
