Seeing that
foremost among sages, who
had had his ablutory bath
in the sacred
waters, radiant like a
raging fire, body smeared all
over with the sacred ash,
appearing like another Lord
Siva, an ardent devotee of
Lord Siva, high-souled, knower
of everything about the ultimate
Reality, holding the sacrificial fuel
in his hand and having
the sacred grass in his
grasp, the chief-de-gods became tremulous,
with his face drooping (26-28).
