53,54.I   went   over   the   wall   and   saw   a   big   grove.   There   was   a   big   Shimshupa   tree   which I   climbed   and   from   there   saw   a   banana   grove   golden   yellow   in   colour.

55,56,57.Close   to   the   Shimshupa   tree,   I   saw   Sita     who   was   of   fair   complexion   and   had   eyes like   the   shape   of   the   lotus   petal.She   was   surrounded   by   the   ugly   Rakshasis   who   eat   flesh and   blood.   By   starvation   she   looked   pale   and   there   was   no   lustre   on   her   face.   Her   hair was   covered   with   dust.   She   had   physically   become   weak   and   had   on   her   a   single   cloth shewearing   before.   She   was   thinking   about   the   welfare   of   her   husband.   The   sight reminded   me   of   a   female   deer   in   the   midst   of   lioness.

58,59.She   was   sitting   among   the   Rakshasis   who   were   constantly   threatening   her.   Her   only activity   was   to   think   of   Rama   .   Her   hair   was   gathered   in   a   single   knot.   She   was   lying   withered like   the   lotus   in   winter.   She   was   in   despair   not   knowing   how   to   escape   from   Ravana. She   had   even   decided   to   die.
