There   is   nothing   like   acquiring   a   good   friendship   and   nothing

A   good   friendship   grows   like   the   waxing   moon   but   an   unworthy
friendship   wanes   by   the   day   (782).

correcting   the   friend   who   strays   from   the   right   path   (784).

The   true   friend   guides   you   from   the   wrong   to   the   right   path

Like   the   hand   that   spontaneously   goes   forth   to   stop   the
garment   from   slipping   from   your   body,   a   true   friend   comes
at   once   to   the   aid   of   one   in   distress   (788).
