Even a winner should avoid gambling,
because winning
a stake is like a fish swallowing the
bait (931).

Those frequenting the gambling den
and getting addicted, will finally come to grief despite all
their skills (935).

Those who are blinded by an insatiable
addiction to gambling will be ruined here and the hereafter (936).

wealth and repute (937).

Gambling will destroy one's wealth
and compassion and
make one take to falsehood (938).

Gambling will lead to the fivefold

The attachment to gambling inspite
of losses, is like the attachment to life inspite of suffering (940).
